Deal or No Deal Live Game Overview

The minimum bet size in Deal or No Deal Live is 10p.

The maximum bet size in this game is £900.

    Qualification Round

You will qualify for this round when you spin the three-reel bank vault wheel and gold segments are aligned in the upper central sector of the wheel.

This unlocks the bank vault door, giving you access to the game show.

Your chances of achieving qualification are enhanced if you purchase either one or two rings by selecting ‘Easy’ or ‘Very Easy’.

The gold segments on the rings that you have purchased will subsequently be aligned at the top automatically.

Buying rings increases your bet size; if you buy one ring, it is increased by 3x (Easy) and 9x for two rings (Very Easy).

You must buy these rings during the active qualification time, which is displayed in the countdown timer found in the middle of the wheel. If you don't do this, you will automatically be offered qualification for the following round.

There is no limit to the number of wheel spins you have, it just has to take place in the time provided.

For every spin of the wheel, you will be charged the selected bet amount.

Placing larger bets increases the value in the briefcases that you qualify with for the game show.

Whenever you spin, it will set the money in the biggest-prize briefcase by 75x–500x your total bet.

You can pick any of the briefcases to have the highest value at any time during qualification. This can be done by clicking/tapping on one of the prize values that is shown on the left and right-hand sides of the game window. This can be done as many times as you wish in the time provided.

    The Top Up Wheel

The Top Up Wheel will be shown immediately after you've secured qualification.

This will provide you with the chance to top up the amount of money in the briefcase you selected to contain the highest value by 5x–50x your bet. To do this, pick your Top Up bet amount and spin the wheel.

The Top Up Wheel can be spun as many times as you wish during the allocated time.

You will be charged your selected bet amount for each spin, and you will see a timer displayed in the middle of the reel again.

    The Main Game

In this section, you enter the game show as a contestant.

You will see your briefcase on the table next to the host of the game show, and there will also be a hotline to the Banker located at the front of the studio.

The other 15 briefcases are set in two orderly rows, with the assistant to the host just behind them.

A number between 1 and 16 is allocated to the boxes individually, and they are distributed across the studio at random.

You can view the amounts of money that are held in the boxes on either side of the screen.

While the game show is being played, the host’s assistant will open the briefcases gradually to reveal the prize amounts that are featured in them.

When a briefcase is opened, it becomes inactive.

    First Opening and Offer

To begin with, you will open three of the 16 boxes.

After this has taken place, you will be made a ‘Deal or No Deal’ offer by the Banker, who will await your decision:

    • Electing to ‘Deal’ will see the money you win shown in the winning message, before being paid to your balance. You will then have the chance to go back to the qualification round.
    • Play will continue if you decide to ‘No Deal’.
    • Failing to make a choice within the decision time will be assumed as a ‘No Deal’, and the game will proceed.

    Second Opening and Offer

Another four of the randomly distributed briefcases will be opened.

The Banker will make you a ‘Deal or No Deal’ offer once more, and again waits for your decision.

    Third Opening and Offer

An extra four of the boxes are opened, and once again the Banker will make you a ‘Deal or No Deal’ offer and wait for you to decide.

    Fourth Opening and Final Offer

In this round, three boxes are opened. This means only your box and one other will be left in the game.

You will receive one last offer from the Banker, and you must choose between three options: ‘Deal’, ‘Switch Briefcases’ or ‘No Deal’.

Accepting the ‘Deal’ option, means you take the offer and your winnings are automatically collected.

Taking the ‘Switch Briefcases’ option will swap your box with the other remaining one if you believe the prize in the other box is greater than yours.

You can also choose ‘No Deal’ and you will hold onto the box you received at the start.

    The Final Opening

The last two briefcases are opened in this section.

If you selected ‘No Deal’ for the Banker’s final offer, the prize that was in your box will be awarded to you.

If you selected ‘Switch Briefcases’, the prize of the other briefcase is awarded to you.

You will then see a message on your screen that shows your winnings for the game show, and you will then be taken back to the qualification round.
