How to Play Virgin Gold Blitz

Let’s get started with the basics - bet sizes and the Return to Player (RTP) rate. If you’re unfamiliar with these terms, read our post on how online slots work before spinning the reels.

Bet sizes in this game range from X to X, and a total of X paylines are available on each spin. The RTP is X%, which means that for every £100 wagered on Virgin Gold Blitz, we expect to pay out £X to players on average.

Game Symbols

A range of different symbols will appear in the play area of Virgin Gold Blitz, with some being more important than others.

Here are the main symbols that you need to keep an eye out for when the reels stop turning…

Virgin Games Symbol

That’s right - we’ve got our own symbol in this exclusive online slot machine! For those of you familiar with the original Gold Blitz, the Virgin Games symbol has replaced the dollar sign, which is the most valuable regular symbol in the game. If you find six of these symbols on a payline across the reels, you will win a payout of 10x your wager!

Wild Symbols

It wouldn’t be an online slot game without Wilds. Look out for ‘WILD’ written on a purple and blue square on the reels as these can help you to complete more winning combinations if you don’t have matching symbols.

If a Wild appears in the middle of some identical symbols, it will replace the non-matching one to trigger a winning combination, and the money is added straight to your balance. You can find Wilds on reels 2-6 during the base game, though this changes to 2-4 in the bonus rounds.

Collect Symbols

Look out for the Lightning Bolt on reels 1 and 6. This is the Collect symbol, which will award some instant prizes if any Cash symbols are shown on the same spin. If two Collect symbols hit, your prize will be doubled, unless it is a jackpot.

Cash Symbols

These are all important in Virgin Gold Blitz. Spot them on reels 2-5, and their values are shown in purple rectangles on top of a gold square. This will be a multiple of your bet size, or it could even be one of three jackpots up for grabs.

Bonus Scatter Symbols

Your tickets into the Gold Blitz or Free Spins bonus rounds are the Bonus symbols, which are shown as a red jewel with the word ‘BONUS’ written into the middle of them.

When at least three of these symbols appear on one of your spins, the bonus selector is awarded, and you will get to pick which feature to play.
